FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean & open bonnet. Trial fit Bonnet

Protector centrally onto bonnet. Note the

outer slots in Bonnet Protector that

correspond to the bonnet lip. Also note the

holes in the underside of the bonnet that

correspond to the Bonnet Protector tag

slots, and the area of bonnet lip that

corresponds to the length of the Bonnet

Protector tag. Remove Bonnet Protector.

At the previously noted area, clean bonnet

lip with the alcohol wipe provided and wipe

off any residue with a dry clean cloth.

Attach the long abrasive resistant tape

strip to the bonnet lip that corresponds to

the tag as shown. See Figure. 1

3. At the previously noted positions for the

holes in the underside of bonnet, insert the

screw plugs as shown.

See Figure.3

2. Attach plastic wing clips to Bonnet

Protector. Ensure top leg of clips locate in

rectangular slots at either end of Protector.

6. Complete installation by locating bottom

section of plastic wing clips over abrasive

resistant tape strips on bonnet surface.

See Figure. 6

7. TO REMOVE: Reverse above procedure.

8. Place installation instruction in glove

compartment for future use.

BONNET PROTECTOR

4. Refit Bonnet Protector and secure using

washers and screws provided.

See Figure. 4

5. Using the alcohol wipe provided, clean the

bonnet at the two previously noted areas

corresponding to the plastic clips at the

Bonnet Protector wings. Remove any

residue with a dry clean cloth. Adhere

abrasive resistant tape strips to these

cleaned positions over bonnet lip. Apply

tape so approximately half of each strip

is adhered to topside and half adhered to

underside of bonnet.
