
Measure height of trailer or caravan coupling from centre of coupling to ground.
Trial fit equaliser header assembly to tow bar, in each of it's two positions and record the heights
of tow ball centre to ground, refer Figure 1, view B.
Insert equaliser header assembly, in the position which provides the closest tow ball height to trailer
coupling height dimension.
Secure equaliser header assembly with M16 bolt, nut and saftey clip,refer Figure 1 view A.

Attach ball to equaliser header assembly, torque tow ball nut 175Nm.
Connect trailer to tow vehicle.
Locate equaliser bars to equaliser header assembly with pins. Secure pins with washers and 'R' clips,
refer Figure 1 view C.
Lubricate pins with HN1271 or muti purpose grease prior to installation.
Secure over centre latches to both sides of 'A' frame of trailer or caravan, refer Figure 1 view F.
Ensure over centre latches align with equaliser bar chains, refer Figure 1 view D.
Tighten bolt on rear of latches to 10 - 15 Nm and secure lock nut.
Lower lever arm on over centre latch so lever arm is 90 from locked.
Using the equaliser bar chain place chain link which easily locates over the spigot. Using lever bar
lift over centre latch into position. Secure with pin and 'R' clip, refer Figure 1 view E.
