2. Position carpet mat in correct location on

floor of the vehicle. Refer Figure 2.

3. Using the centre of the hole in the

grommet as a template and with a

metal skewer or similar pointed tool,

pierce a small hole through the carpet and

into the insulator. Refer Figure 3.

1. Fit lower grommet to underside of mat,

ensuring the flat on the perimeter, faces

towards the rear of the mat. The

spikes on flange must penetrate the mat

fully, to ensure positive location. Fit the

upper grommet from the top side of the

mat and press to lock into position. Refer

Figure 1.

Repeat procedure for second grommet.

4. Insert the locking screw through hole in

carpet by turning clockwise, then continue

screwing into the small hole in the

insulator and turn until it rotates freely.

6. Repeat installation procedure of locking

screw to the second grommet position in

the carpet mat.

5. Locate mat over locking screw and

fix into position by turning the top only of

the locking screw by 90 to secure mat into

place. Refer Figure 5.
