1. Remove four allen head screws on sides of head unit. Insert appropriate dealer supplied keys into holes
and remove unit. Insert Blaupunkt 620 unit in reverse of above.
2. Remove six screws holding glovebox in position, three at bottom and three inside at the top of the
glovebox.
3. Slide glovebox out and remove whilst disconnecting glovebox lamp wiring.
4. Remove glovebox shelf by releasing two retaining clips at rear of glovebox.
NOTE: Ensure the CD changer PIN code has been removed from the CD changer case and recorded.
5. Tie back lamp wiring.
NOTE: Glovebox lamp is not functional when CD changer is fitted.
6. Fit CD changer to shelf supplied. Ensure the pins in the side of the CD changer are securely located within
the walls of the supplied shelf. Secure with two screws (11049292) supplied.
7. Locate the CD changer wiring connector, remove the tie back tape and prepare for connection to the CD
changer.
8. Feed vehicle wiring connector for CD changer into glovebox through glovebox lamp hole.
9. Connect CD changer to vehicle wiring while sliding the CD changer/shelf assembly into the glovebox
ensuring the two rear clips snap into place.
10. Refit glovebox assembly with the six screws that were removed.
11. Add fuse (Part No.12004009) to location F34 in fuse box, if required.
12. Enter security PIN code for the CD changer as follows:
- Make sure the radio is operational. If not refer to the 'Audio System Handbook' for the
Blaupunkt 620 radio, on how to enter the 'Radio PIN Code'.
- Switch on the ignition.
- If the radio is ON, turn it off.
- Press and hold the 'MODE' button and switch on the radio. Release the 'MODE' button after
the display shows "10 _ _ _ _ ". This indicates that you have ten attempts left at entering the
correct PIN code.
13. Enter the PIN code (previously removed from the CD changer case) with preset buttons 1, 2, 3, and 4.
EXAMPLE: If the PIN code belonging to the CD changer is 2739.

14. Press and hold 'MODE' button until a beep is heard and the CD changer is operating.
15. If a wrong PIN code has been entered the display will show "SAFE". After the waiting time "9 _ _ _ _" will
be shown on the display indicating that there are nine attempts left. The correct code should now be
entered.
