DRILLING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WH SERIES
REAR COMPARTMENT LID SPOILER, PART No. 92082116
NOTE: If the rear compartment lid has been replaced, drill holes prior to painting. If fitting the spoiler to an existing
rear compartment lid, apply masking tape in the areas shown to avoid damaging the paintwork.
1. Mark a point on each edge of the rear compartment lid, 696.5 mm rearward of the front corner.
2. Plot a line across the rear compartment lid (1) between the marks.
3. Place a mark 28 mm in from each edge of the rear compartment lid along line (1). This is the centre point of
the outer holes.
4. Mark a centre line (2) at the front edge and line 1 on the rear compartment lid.
5. Place a mark on the centre line, 598.5 mm rearward of the front edge of the rear compartment lid. This is the
centre point of the middle hole.
6. Temporarily fit the spoiler in position and check that the mount studs align with the marks on the rear
compartment lid. Adjust as required.
7. Drill a 3 mm pilot hole at each of the 3 points marked.
8. For the outer holes, drill the pilot holes out to 12 mm. Continue the drill through the inner panel.
9. For the centre hole, drill the pilot hole out to 7 mm. Drill the outer panel only.
10. Carefully remove the masking tape.
11. Debur the drill holes and apply zinc-rich primer to the bare metal surfaces if required.
