FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Thoroughly clean any road grime from the mating

surface of the wheel arch to which the mud flap

attaches. Using the alcohol wipe supplied in the

package, wipe the contact area shown

on the wheel arch to prepare the surface for the

adhesive application. Refer Figure 1.

2. Place the front mudflap in position and mark the

upper mounting hole location on the vehicle.

Refer Figure 2.

3. With the front mudflap still held in position, mark

the lower mounting hole location beneath the

vehicle. Refer Figure 3.

TOOLS REQUIRED

Screw Driver - Philips Head, Power Drill, 2.5 mm Drill Bit,

6 mm Drill Bit, Marker, Betaseal 55402 polyurethane

adhesive (P/N 92143609) & Cleaning Cloth.

4. Drill a 2.5 mm hole in the upper mounting position

marked. Refer Figure 4.

5. Drill a 6.0 mm hole in the lower mounting position

marked. Refer Figure 5.

6. Prepare the adhesive application surface area

shown on the front mud flap, using the

3M Primer 94 as supplied in the package.

Refer Figure 6.

7. Peel a small amount of protective backing tape

from the adhesive strip on the mud flap.

Refer Figure 7.

NOTE: The warranty is void, if the above

processes are not carried out.

8. Apply a 4.0mm dia. bead of polyurethane adhesive

Betaseal 55402 over area as indicated on the

contact surface of the mud flap. Refer Figure 8.

9. Fit the mud flap to the vehicle and fix by installing

the self tapping screw and the plastic rivet supplied

in the package. Tighten to specified torque. Refer

Figure 9.

10. Pull the exposed backing strip from the adhesive

strip and apply pressure to ensure permanent

adhesion. Allow 24 hours to attain full adhesion.

Refer Figure 10.

11. Repeat fitting process to opposite side of the

vehicle.

12. Place fitting instructions in the vehicles glove box.
