FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Thoroughly clean any road grime from the rear
fascia with the cleaning cloth.
Using the alcohol wipe supplied with this package,
wipe over the mudflap mating surface on the rear
fascia shown to prepare the surface for
the adhesive application . Refer to Figure 1.
2. Temporarily fit the mudflap in position onto the rear
fascia. Refer to Figure 2.
3. Mark the underside of the fascia using the rivet
hole as a template. Refer to Figure 3.
4. Remove the mudflap and drill a 6mm hole through
the fascia at the mark. Refer to Figure 4.
TOOLS REQUIRED
Betaseal 55402 Polyurethane Adhesive (P/N 92143609)
Electric Drill, 6mm Drill Bit, 2mm Drill Bit, Phillips Head
Screwdriver & Cleaning Cloth.

5. Prepare the adhesive application area on the back
of the mudflap shown by applying 3M
Primer 94, supplied with this package. Refer to
Figure 5
6. Peel a small amount of the protective backing tape
from the adhesive strips on the back of the
mudflap. Refer to Figure 6.
7. Apply a 4.0mm dia. bead of Betaseal 55402
polyurethane adhesive to the primed surface on
the back of the mudflap. Refer to Figure 7.
8. Carefully fit the mudflap onto the vehicle ensuring
the protective backing tape strips protrude from
the mudflap. Refer to Figure 8.

9. Insert the rivet supplied in the package to the
underside of the fascia. Use a screwdriver to push
the insert home. Refer to Figure 9.
10. Pull out the exposed backing tape strips, three
places, and apply pressure to ensure permanent
adhesion. Ensure the mudflap remains correctly
positioned. Refer to Figure 10.
11. Drill a 2mm hole through the mudflap and fascia at
the dimple in the mudflap. Refer to Figure 11.
12. Install the screw supplied in the package and
tighten securely.
13. Repeat the fitting process to opposite side of the
vehicle.
14. Place fitting instructions in the vehicle’s glove box.
IMPORTANT: ALLOW 24 HOURS FOR THE ADHESIVE
TO CURE BEFORE WASHING THE VEHICLE .
