Ladies and Gentlemen,
Further to the Holden By Design National Bulletin number - 351/02 (5 December 2002), this is
additional information for the Victorian Zone Retailers, to assist your staff when dealing with HBD.
The attached information should be forwarded to relevant personnel in your Retail outlet.
1. Procedure for ordering HBD Product from Clayton - stock vehicles only:
• The latest order form must be FAXED or E Mailed to HBD – Clayton. (Refer attached).
• HBD will book vehicle for work and confirm production timing via a reply fax or E-Mail.
• If a delay occurs, Retailer will be contacted (phone, fax or E-Mail) advising reason and new
timing.
• If there are difficulties with the process call Robert Bevilacqua – Mobile 0418-532-520 with all
the details and we can attempt to resolve any outstanding issue within a timely fashion.
2. Procedure for ordering Warranty or Service replacement HBD parts:
• Same as the HSV procedure – contact Preston Motors on toll free number 1300 727 848
(Shaun Lacey) and Quote the HSV/HBD Identification number before ordering the required
parts.
3. Warranty Information:
• Same as the HSV procedure – Refer Warranty Processing Bulletin - WD 02/01 (26 February
2001).
• Whenever HSV / HBD parts require replacement under warranty the Retailer must complete
HSV / HBD Warranty request form and fax to John Volarich - 03-9265-9555.
• HSV / HBD Warranty will provide a reference number on a return fax - please refer to the
above Warranty Bulletin (02/01) for detailed process information.
Also attached is a comprehensive HBD contact list including fax numbers and E-Mail addresses
and job titles.
Please note: HBD – Clayton close of business on Friday’s is - 3.00pm.

Holden By Design – LPG Information
Ladies and Gentlemen,
This Bulletin is to assist you and your staff when dealing with LPG ordering issues
on all Holden Product lines. The attached information should be forwarded to
relevant personnel in your Retail outlet as a quick reference guide.
All LPG KL7 (Factory Gas) or HAG (Aftermarket Gas) can only be fitted to V6 Automatic
Vehicles. The breakdown as follows:

The attached chart highlights the type of LPG options available and the event
number up to and including the LPG option can be ordered.
In addition, we have released a new feature for Fleet operators “Default LPG
Mode” which allows the vehicle Engine Management System to be reprogrammed
to operate on LPG at vehicle start up and through the LPG Operating range.
This feature will be on a request basis from the Fleet Customer and will require
the Engine Management System to be reprogrammed by Tech 2.
Please Note: This feature is being introduced in response to Government and
Business Fleet Customer requests.
