ATTENTION:
HSV vehicles are equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). An SRS consists of seat belt pre-
tensioners (fitted to all front seats), a d river’s-side air bag, a passeng er’s-side air bag and left and right h and
side air bags. Refer to CAUTIONS, Section 12M Occupant Protection System in the MY 2005 VZ Series
Service Information before performing any service operation on or around SRS components, the steering
mechanism or wiring. Failure to follow the CAUTIONS could result in personal injury or unnecessary SRS
system repairs.

1 General Information
The HSV VZ Murph Edition is a Limited Edition based on the VZ Clubsport R8, combining all the features of the
Clubsport R8 with many styling, performance and luxury features. These HSV components, assemblies and fittings are
not described in service-type information produced for standard Holden mode ls.
The purpose of this Supplement is to provide information on the unique HSV components fitted to HSV Murph Edition
vehicles. The information in t his document is designed to supplement the information c ontained in the Holden and HSV
VZ Series Service Information, and details are given where differences occur between the HSV models and standard
Holden models. A series of instruction dr awings describe the design changes an d indicate specific part numbers, fitting
instructions and relevant notes for vehicle se rvicing.
The features fitted to a HSV Murph Edition which differ from a HSV Clubs port R8 are as follows:
