1.GENERAL I NFORMATI ON
1.1 VX SERIES II MODELS
LUMINA (SEDAN AND WAGON)
The VX Series II Lumina sedan and wagon (Production Option A8Y) was introduced during October 2001.
The following is a summary of the additional equipment available as part of the Lumina:
Sedan Models are fitted with a decklid air spoiler as fitted to VT Series S Models. For detailed
information regarding the decklid air spoiler, refer to 2.15 DECKLID AIR SPOILER in Section 1A9,
EXTERIOR ORNAMENTATION in the VT Series I Service Information.
Wagon Models are fitted with the roof bars as fitted to VT Series I Berlina Wagon Models.
Both Sedan and Wagon Lumina Models are f itted with the 16x7 inch alloy wheels as fitted to VT Series
II Calais Models.
The grille surrounds, rocker panel skirts and exterior mirrors are painted body colour.
The ‘prism’ pattern door tr im insert and s eat fabric as f itted to VX Series I Lum ina Models carries over
from VX Series II Lumina Models.
Power window s are fitted as standard equipment.
A leather wrapped steering wheel as fitted to VT Series I Calais is standard equipment.
A passengers airbag is available as optional equipment.
A V6 Supercharged engine is available as optional equipment for Sedan Models.
Both Sedan and Wagon Lumina Models receive unique ornamentation. For detailed information
regarding the ornam entation for Lumina Models , refer to 2.3 NAME PLAT ES AND DECALS in Section
1A9, EXTERIOR ORNAMENTATION in the VX/VU/WH Series II Service Information.
EQUIPE (SEDAN AND WAGON)
The VX Series II Equipe Sedan and Wagon (Pr oduc tion Option A8S) was introduced during April 2002. The
following is a summary of the additional equipment available as part of the Equipe:
Unique Equipe ornamentation. For detailed information regarding the Equipe ornamentation, refer to
2.3 NAMEPLATES AND DECALS in Section 1A9, EXTERIOR ORNAMENTATION in the VX/VU/WH
Series II Service Information.
Cruise control is fitted as standard equipment.
Fitted with 15x7 inch alloy wheels as fitted to VX Series I Equipe Models.
Wagon Models are fitted with the roof bars as fitted to VT Series I Berlina Wagon Models.
Body coloured side mouldings as previously fitted to VX Series I Acclaim Models.
The tailpipe extension receives a bright chrome treatment.
The grille as fitted to VX Series II Acclaim.
The exterior rear view mirrors are painted body colour.
The ‘Urban’ interior trim and seat fabric is unique.
Power window s are fitted as standard equipment.
A radio/tape/CD type audio system is fitted as standard equipment
1.2 VU SERIES II MODELS
SS FIFTY
The VU Series II SS Fifty Utility (Production Option A9J) was introduced during October 2001. The following
is a summary of the additional equipment available as part of the SS Fifty:
Fitted with 17X8 inch alloy wheels as fitted to WH Series I Statesman International Models.
Receives unique ornamentation. For detailed information regarding the ornamentation for SS Fifty
Models, ref er to 2.3 NAM E PLAT ES AND DECALS in Section 1A9, EXT ERIOR ORNAMENTATION in
the VX/VU/WH Series II Service Information.
The tailpipe extension receives a satin chrome treatment.
A unique interior trim treatment with Hyper yellow interior accent, ‘code’ fabric on seat inserts, colour
coded instrument cluster and yellow leather seat wings/door inserts.
The park brake and transmission shift lever buttons receive a satin chrome treatment.
The engine dress cover receives a special paint treatment.
STORM (UTILITY)
The VU Series II Storm (Production Option A8U) was introduced during June 2002. The following is a
summary of the additional equipment available as part of the Storm Utility:
Unique Storm ornamentation. For detailed information regarding the Storm ornamentation, refer to
2.3 NAMEPLATES AND DECALS in Section 1A9, EXTERIOR ORNAMENTATION in the VX/VU/WH
Series II Service Information.
Fitted with 16x7 inch alloy wheels as fitted to VT Series II S Models.
Fitted with the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard equipment.
Fitted with the sports suspension (Production Option FE2) as standard equipment.
Fitted with the front facia as fitted to VX Series II S Models.
Fitted with the rocker skirts and bumperettes as fitted to VU Series SS Models.
Fitted with a passengers airbag (Production Option AK5) as standard equipment.
Titanium painted centre facia and console cap.
The seats receive a unique trim with leather bolsters.
1.3 WH SERIES II MODELS
STATESMAN V8 INTERNATIONA L
The WH Ser ies II Statesman V8 International ( Production Option A8X) was introduc ed during March 2002.
The following is a summary of the additional equipment available as part of the Statesman V8 International:
Unique Statesman V8 International ornamentation. For detailed information regarding the V8

ORNAMENTATION in the VX/VU/WH Series II Service Information.
Unique decklid air spoiler. For detailed information regarding the decklid air spoiler, refer to
2.5 DECKLID AIR SPOILER in Section 1A9, EXT ERIOR ORNAMENT ATIO N in the VX/VU/WH Series
II Service Information.
New projector type front headlamps as previously fitted to V2 Series Monaro Models. For detailed
information regarding the projector type headlamps, refer to 2.2 HEADLAMP AND TURN
SIGNAL/PARK LAMP ASSEMBLY in Section 12B, LIGHTING SYSTEM in the V2 Series Service
Information.
Body colour side mouldings, rocker panel skirts, facias and front grille.
Unique 17x8 inch alloy wheels.
Titanium painted centre facia, console cap, rear console air outlet and door air outlets.
‘Grenache’ red leather interior with suede inserts.
‘Diamond Check’ finish on the PRNDL indicator and storage compartments.
Silver grey stitched leather on the steering wheel, park brake and shift lever knob.
The memory type seat as fitted to WH Series I Caprice Models is fitted as standard equipment.
The ‘Holden Assist’ (Telematics) system is fitted as standard equipment.
The exterior door handles, badges and exhaust tip receive a bright chrome treatment.
The interior door handles, park brake and transmission shift lever button receive a satin chrome
treatment.
The floor mats contain a unique ‘V8 International’ embroidered logo.
STATESMAN INTERNATIONAL LS8
The WH Series II Statesman International LS8 (Production Option A8T) was introduced during October
2002. The following is a summary of the additional equipment available as part of the Statesman
International LS8:
Unique Statesm an Inter national LS8 ornamentation. For detailed infor mation regarding the International

Projector type front headlamps as previously fitted to WH Series II Statesman V8 International

The 8 way memory type leather trimmed seats as fitted to WH Series I Caprice Models with french
seams and perforated inserts inserts is fitted as standard equipment.
A revised three position rear seat with centre head restraint is fitted as standard equipment.
The ‘Holden Asssist’ (Telematics) system is fitted as standard equipment.
The interior door handles, instrument panel badge, park brake button and transmission shift lever
button receive a satin chrome treatment.
The floor mats contain a unique ‘International LS8’ embroidered logo.
The door sill plates contain a unique ‘International LS8’ logo.
