1 General Information
All MY 2004 AWD Wagon vehicles are fitted with electrically adjustable exterior rear-view mirrors. The interior rear-view
mirror is manually adjusted. Two types of exterior and interior rear view mirrors are used across the MY 2004 AWD
Wagon model range:
• On CX8 models, exterior mirrors have body coloured scalps. For all information relating to exterior rear-view
mirrors as fitted to low level MY 2004 AWD Wagon vehicles, refer to Section 12H Rear-view Mirrors in the MY 2003
VY and V2 Series Service Information.
• On LX8 models, the exterior mirrors also have body coloured scalps. The electrical operating system is similar to
that fitted to Level 3 MY2004 VY Series vehicles and Level 5 MY 2004 WK Series vehicles, in that the exterior
mirrors are also heated and integrate with the front seat memory system. For information relating to rear-view
mirrors as fitted to high level MY 2004 All Wheel Drive Wagon vehi cles, refer to:

• Section 12H Heated Exterior Mirror Glass in the MY 2004 WK Series Service Information for information
relating to the replacement of the heated mirror glass.
• Section 12H Rear-view Mirrors in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service Information for all other service
procedures.
• The Telematics (Holden Assist) system is fitted as optional equipment on all MY 2004 AWD Wagon vehicles. If the
Telematics system is fitted, the interior rear-view mirror will incorporate the Telematics system switches,
microphone and LEDs. For all information regarding the interior rear-view mirror fitted as part of the Telematics
system, refer to Section 12K Telematics in the MY 2003 VY Series and V2 Series Service Information. For all other
information related to the interior rear view mirror, refer to Section 12H Rear-view Mirrors in the MY 2003 VY and
V2 Series Service Information.
