1 General Information
With the following exceptions, MY 2004 VY Regular Cab and Crew Cab Stationary Windows information carries over
from MY 2004 VY Series vehicles and MY 2003 VY Regular Cab vehicles.
• Crew Cab Rear window glass

Rear window glass removal requires the removal and refitting of either, the tray or rear body as well as some the internal
trim and exterior ornamentation components.

2 Service Operations
2.1 Rear Window Assembly
Remove
The MY 2004 VY Series Crew Cab rear window assembly removal procedure carries over from the MY 2004 VY Series
Utility vehicles, once the following has been removed:
1 Remove the rear body, refer to Section 1B, 2.2 Rear Body.
2 Remove the header trim assembly, refer to Section 1A9, 2.6 Rear Header Trim.
3 Remove the body lock pillar finisher, refer to Section 1A9, 2.5 Body Lock Pillar Finisher.
4 Remove the rear outer trim panel, refer to Section 1A9, 2.10, Rear Outer Trim Panel and NVH Foam.
5 Remove the rear upper cross-beam cover, refer to Section 1A8, 2.5 Upper Cross-beam Cover.
6 Remove the rear glass, refer to Sect ion 1A6 Statio nary Window s in the MY 2004 VY and V2 Series Service
Information.
Reinstall
Reinstallation is the reverse of the removal process noting the following.
1 Two methods for installing the glass can be followed, either a short or long method, refer to Section 1A6
