1. General Information
All MY 2004 VY Regular Cab and Crew Cab vehicles are fitted with electrically adjustable exterior rear-view mirrors. The
interior rear-view mirror is manually adjusted to suit the driver’s seating position.
For all other information relating to the interior rear-view mirror and exterior rear-view mirrors as fitted to MY 2004 VY
Regular Cab and Crew Cab vehicles, not covered in this Section, refer to Section 12H Rear-view Mirrors in the MY 2003
VY and V2 Series Service Information.
1.1 General Description
Two types of exterior and interior rear view mirrors are used across the MY 2004 VY Regular Cab and Crew Cab vehicle
range.
• On base level models, exterior mirrors have grain finish, black coloured lower housings with black coloured upper
housings. For all information relating to exterior rear-view mirrors as fitted to base level MY 2004 VY Regular Cab
and Crew Cab vehicles, refer to Section 12H Rear-view Mirrors in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service
Information.
• On S and SS models, exterior mirror housings have grain finish, black coloured lower housings and body coloured
upper housings. For all other information relating to exterior rear-view mirrors as fitted to S and SS level MY 2004
VY Regular Cab and Crew Cab vehicles, refer to Section 12H Rear-view Mirrors in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series
Service Information.
• Vehicles fitted with the Telematics system option have an interior rear-view mirror incorporating the Telematics
system switches, microphone and LEDs. For all information relating to the interior rear-view mirror fitted as part of
the Telematics system, refer to Section 12K Telematics in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service Information
