1 General Information

Single-zone HVAC Occupant Climate Control (Auto A/C) is available as an option on MY 2004 Cr ew Cab vehicles as

part of the leather interior package. In ge neral, description and operation information carr ies over from MY 2003 VY and

V2 Series vehicles with the exception of some V8 engine cooling fan system information for which reference should be

made to Section 6B3 Engine Cooling – GEN III V8 Engine in the MY 2003 VY Regular Cab Service Information.

1.1 Vehicle Builds from Tag No. L174938

Onwards

From Tag No. L174938 a revised HVAC unit has been fitted. For description an d operation information specific to the

revised unit, refer to Section 2D HVAC Occupant Climate Control (Auto A/C) – Descriptio n and Op eration in the MY 2004

VY and V2 Series Service Information.

For all other information regarding the description and operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system

components, refer to Section 2D HVAC Occupant Climate Control (Auto A/C) – Description and Operation in the

MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service Information, noting that information which is specific to LHD vehicl es is not

applicable.
