1 General Information
With the following exceptions, MY 2004 VY AWD Crew Cab Body information carries over from MY 2004 Crew Cab
vehicles, MY 2004 AWD Wagon vehicles, and MY 2004 VY and V2 Series vehicles.
• Plastic components
• Rear wheelhouse liner
• Rear mudflap
For inner rear body panel service information refer to Section 1A1 Body in the MY 2004 Crew Cab Service Information.
For information on relevant plastic components and the front wheelhouse liner, refer to Section 1A1 Body in the
MY 2004 AWD Wagon Service Information.

2.2 Rear Mudflap
Remove
1 If required, remove the rear road wheel, refer to
Section 10 Wheels & Tyres.
2 Remove the screw (1), five places, attaching the rear
mudflap to the vehicle, and remove the mudflap.

Reinstall
Reinstallation of the rear mudflap is the reverse of the removal procedure, noting the following.
1 Ensure the rear mudflap is correctly positioned.
2 Install the screws attaching the mudflap and tighten to the correct torque specification.

2.3 Rear Wheelhouse Liner
Remove
1 Remove the rear road wheel, refer to Section 10 Wheels & Tyres.
2 Remove the rear mudflap, refer to 2.2 Rear Mudflap.
3 Remove the screws (1) six places, attaching the rear wheelhouse liner to the wheelhouse inner flare extension,
refer to Figure 1A1 – 2.
4 Remove the fasteners (2) two places, securing the rear wheelhouse liner to the body.

5 Manipulate the liner from behind the wheelhouse flare and remove.
Reinstall
Reinstallation of the rear wheelhouse liner is the reverse of the removal procedure, noting the following.
1 Ensure the wheelhouse liner is correctly positioned.
2 Install the screws attaching the liner and tighten to the correct torque specification.
