1 General Information

The basic HVAC system as fitted to MY 2004 AWD Crew Cab vehicles is carried over from MY 2004 VY Series vehicles.

HVAC Climate Control (Manual A/C) is fitted as standard equipment. Single zone HVAC Occupant Climate Control (Auto

A/C) is available as part of the leather interior package. Major components which are common to both Manual A/C and

OCC (Auto A/C) air conditioning systems such as the condenser, filter drier receiver, compressor, evaporator, heater

core, blower fan, engine cooling fans and water valve are identical to those used on MY 2004 VY Series vehicles.

All MY 2004 AWD Crew Cab vehicles are fitted with a GEN III V8 engine. All models are also fitted with a high power

engine cooling fan system (430 W), which is identical to that used on the previously released VY Series Regular Cab and

Crew Cab vehicles fitted with GEN III V8 engines. The engine cooling fan operating strategy is also carried over from

these vehicles. The front bumper bar fascia and lower air chute extension are carried over from the previously released

MY 2004 AWD Wagon.
