All OCC control modules fitted to the MY 2004 AWD Crew Cab vehicle display an additional driving condition icon to the
driver in the form of a snowflake. This is the same feature previously released for the MY 2004 AWD W agon vehicle
range. This ‘Ice Warning’ symbol (1) will be displayed on the LCD screen (2) when the outside temperature is
approximately 2 °C or below. It is provided to alert the driver that the road surface may be hazardous. The symbol will
turn off when the outside temperature rises above 4 °C. The outside temperature information is relayed to the OCC
control module by the ambient temperature sensor.
