1 General Information

With the following exception, MY 2004 VY AW D Crew Cab Exhaust System information carries over from MY 2004

VY Series Regular Cab and Crew Cab:

• Euro 2 emissions standards information applies to MY 2004 VY AWD Crew Cab vehicles from start of production.

For information not contained within this Section, refer to Section 8B Exhaust System in the MY 2004 VY Series Regular

Cab and Crew Cab Service Information.

NOTE

Refer to the relevant MY 2004 VY AWD Crew

Cab Section for all external references contained

1.1 Euro 2 Emissions Standards

MY 2004 VY AWD Crew Cab Exhaust System information carries over from MY 2004 VY and V2 Series, noting the

following:

• MY 2004 VY AWD Crew Cab vehicles will comply with Euro 2 emissions standards from start of production. (For

all Euro 2 emissions standards information, refer to Section 8B, 1.1 Emission Reductions in the MY 2004 VY and

V2 Series Service Information.)

• MY 2004 VY AWD Crew Cab front exhaust assemblies information carries over from MY 2004 VY and V2 Series

vehicles. (For information not contained within this Section, refer to Section 8B, 1.2 Exhaust System

Configurations in the MY 2004 VY and V2 Series Service Information.

• MY 2004 VY AWD Crew Cab intermediate Y-pipe exhaust assembly, intermediate single pipe and muffler exhaust

assembly, and rear exhaust assembly information carries over from MY 2004 VY Series Regular Cab and Crew

Cab vehicles. (For information not contained within this Section, refer to Section 8B, 3.3 Rear Exhaust Assembly
