1. GENERAL I NFORMATION

Apart from a minor revision to the emission controI

label affixed to the upper radiator shroud on those

VX Ser ies models fitted with the MY2001 GEN III V8

engine, all other information relating to the emission

control equipment remains as detailed in the

VT Series II Service Information.

1.1 VEHICLE EMISSION CONTROL INFORMATION LABEL

The Vehic le Emiss ion Control Inform ation Label (1)

is attached to the upper radiator shroud in the

centre, as shown.

This label contains important engine tune

conditions and information that must be complied

with, in order for the vehicle and its systems to

achieve the required em iss ion levels and should be

referred to before making any adjustments to the

engine or related systems.
