1. GENERAL I NFORMATI ON
Apart from a minor revision to the emission controI
label affixed to the upper radiator shroud on those
VX Ser ies models fitted with the MY2001 GEN III V8
engine, that reflects an additional service
replacem ent spark plug, all other inform ation relating
to the emission control equipment remains as
detailed in the VT Series II Service Information.
1.1 VEHICLE EMISSION CONTROL INFORMATION LABEL
Engine tune specif ications neces sary to achieve the
correct emission levels are located on the Vehicle
Emission Control Information Label, located in the
engine compartment (1). The label should be
referred to before making any adjustments.
To maintain the performance and emission control
levels specified for the vehicle, it is necessary for
regular maintenanc e to be perf or med in acc ordanc e
with the schedule set out in the VT Series Owner's
Handbook.
