1. GENERAL I NFORMATI O N
1.1 VX SERIES II MODELS
All information relating to lubrication and service for the VX Series II Models carries over from VX Series I
Models, noting the following:
• A f riction m odifying additive (Stur aco 7098) has been added to s elected VX Series II Models fitted with
a limited slip differential (Production Option G80). Refer to 1.4 FINAL DRIVE LUBRICANT
RECOMMENDATIONS in this Section for details.
For information relating to the lubrication and service of VX Series II Models not covered in this Section,
refer to Section 0B LUBRICATION AND SERVICE in the VX Series I Service Information in conjunction
with Section 0B LUBRICATION AND SERVICE in the VT Series II Service Information.

1.2 VU SERIES II MODELS
All inform ation relating to lubrication and service for the VU Series II Models carries over from VU Series I
Models, noting the following:
• A f riction m odifying additive (Sturaco 7098) has been added to selected VU Ser ies II Models fitted with
a limited slip differential (Production Option G80). Refer to 1.4 FINAL DRIVE LUBRICANT
RECOMMENDATIONS in this Section for details.
