CONTROL MODULE

1. GENERAL DESCRI PTI O N
1.1 VX SERIES II MODELS
The information relating to High Series Body Control Modules (BCMs) as fitted to VX Series II Models carry over
from VX Series I Models, noting the following:
As the twilight sentinal/headlamp auto on function has been fitted as standard equipment on VX Series II
Berlina Models, a new LUX Series BCM has been introduced for VX Series II Berlina Models. The new BCM
identification is detailed below.

For further information relating to the High Series BCMs fitted to VX Series II Models, refer to Section 12J-2 HIGH
SERIES BODY CONTROL MODULE in the VX Series I Service Information, in conjunction with Section 12J-2
HIGH SERIES BODY CONTROL MODULE in the VT Series I and VT Series II Service Information.
NOTE: T wo levels of High Series BCM have been released f or VX Series II Models ; a LUX level f or Berlina Models
and a HI level for Calais Models. If a s ervice operation or diagnostic procedure requires that a High Series BCM be
replaced, ensure that the correct level of BCM is reinstalled for the particular level of vehicle.

1.2 WH SERIES II MODELS
The High Series Body Control Modules (BCMs) as fitted to WH Series II Models carry over from WH Series I
Models. For Information relating to the High Series BCMs fitted to WH Series II Models, refer to Section 12J-2 HIGH
SERIES BODY CONTROL MODULE in the WH Series I Service Information, in conjunction with Section 12J-2
HIGH SERIES BODY CONTROL MODULE in the VT Series I and VT Series II Service Information.
2. DIAGNOSTICS
A revis ion has occur ed to som e cir cuits pr otected by fuses protec ted by fuses F29, F30 and F31. When conduc ting
diagnostic procedures as detailed in Section 12J-2 HIGH SERIES BODY CONTROL MODULE in the VX Series I,
VT Series II, VT Series I or WH Series I Service Information, ensure to do so in conjunction with the wiring
diagrams in Section 12P – WIRING DIAGRAMS in this Service Information.
