1 General Information
With the following exceptions MY2003 VY Regular Cab stationary window service information carries over from MY 2003
VY series utilities.
• Rear window glass removal requires the removal and refitting of the aluminium tray as well as some internal
trim and exterior ornamentation.

2 Service Operations
2.1 Rear Window Assembly
Remove
The MY 2003 VY series regular cab rear window assembly removal procedure carries over from the MY 2003 VY series
utilities once the following has been removed.
1 Remove the aluminium tray, refer Section 1B1, Tray.
2 Remove the rear window side moulding, refer Section 1A9, 2.3 Rear Window Side Moulding.
3 Remove the body side rear trim panel, refer Section 1A9, 2.4 Body Side Rear Trim Panel.
4 Remove the rear outer trim panel, refer Section 1A9, 2.7 Rear Outer Trim Panel.
5 If required, remove the rear seat-back body panel trim assembly, refer Section 1A8, 2.2 Seat-back Body Panel
Trim Assembly.
6 Remove the rear glass, refer Section 1A6, 5.3 Rear Win dow Assembly in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service
Information.
Reinstallation
Reinstallation is the reverse of the removal process noting the following.
1 Two methods for installing the glass can be followed a short and long method, refer to Section 1A6, 5.3 Rear
Window Assambly in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service Information for the two methods available.
