1. GENERAL I NFORMATI ON
Anti-Lock Braking Sy stem and Electronic Traction Control (ABS/ETC), is fitted as standard equipment to WH
Statesman and Caprice Models.
The ABS/ETC system used on WH Series Statesman and Caprice Models is the same as used on VT Series II
Models, and is as described in the following Sections of the VT Series Service Information.
NOTE: The information contained in the following Sections of the VT Series Service Information should be read in
conjunction with each other.
Section 12L ABS & ABS/ETC of the VT Series I Service Information (vehicles with V6 and V6 supercharged
engine).
Section 5B ABS & ABS/ETC of the VT Series II Service Information (all engine configurations).
Section 12L ABS & ABS/ETC of the VT Series II Service Information (vehicles with GEN III V8 engine).
