SECTION 6D1-1 - CHARGING SYSTEM -
V6 ENGINE & V6 SUPERCHARGED
IMPORTANT
Before performing any Service Operation or other procedure described in this Section, refer to
Section 00 CAUTIONS AND NOTES for correct workshop practices with regard to safety and/or
property damage.
1. GENERAL I NFORMATI ON
A Bosch KC-A Compact 90 amp generator is fitted to the WH Series models with naturally aspirated V6 engines, which
is the same as that fitted to the VT Series II models. Refer to Section 6D1-1 CHARGING SYSTEM - V6 ENGINE of
the VT Series II Service Information.
A Bosch KC-A Compact 100 amp generator is fitted to the WH Series models with V6 supercharged engines, which is
the same as that fitted to the VT Series models. Refer to Section 6D1-1 CHARGING SYSTEM - V6 ENGINE & V6
SUPERCHARGED of the VT Series I Service Information.
