1 General Information
With the following exceptions, MY 2004 WK Series Fuel Tank information carries over from MY 2003 VY Series vehicles.
For information not contained within this Section, refer to Section 8A1 FUEL TANK in the MY 2003 VY and V2 Series
Service Information.
• There are various Fuel Tank differences between MY 2004 WK and MY 2003 VY and V2 Series vehicles. Where
these differences affect the service procedures for the MY 2004 WK Fuel Tank, either a new reference or
procedure is provide d.

2 Service Operations
2.1 References
Section 8A1 FUEL TANK in the MY 2003 VY & V2 Series Service Information, contains reference to other MY 2003 VY &
V2 Series Sections. Due to different components and maintenance procedures, the following references must be
substituted for the corresponding reference in Section 8A1 FUEL TANK in the MY 2003 VY & V2 Series Service
Information.
Fuel Tank
When performing service operations on the fuel tank that requires removal of the fuel pump relay, refer to Section 12O,
1.4 RELAYS in the MY 2004 WK Series Service Information, in conjunction with MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service
Information. Also, when performing service operations on the fuel tank that requires the vehicle to be raised on a hoist,
refer to Section 0A, 1.1 HOIST PAD LOCATIONS in the MY2004 WK Series Service Information, in conjunction with
MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service Information.
Fuel Filter
When performing service operations on the fuel filter that requires removal of the fuel pump relay, refer to Sect ion 12O ,
1.4 RELAYS in the MY 2004 WK Series Service Information, in conjunction with MY 2003 VY and V2 Series Service
Information.
Modular Fuel Pump and Sender Assembly
When performing service operations on the modular fuel pump and sender assembly that requires removal of the fuel
