REAR AXLE WARRANTY - CHANGEOVER PROGRAM
1. OVERVIEW
1.1 This procedure will apply only to the Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia beam and IRS axles.
1.2 This program will cover all axle warranty faults within the three (3) year/100,000 km new vehicle
warranty.
2. PROCEDURE STEPS
2.1 Log onto the Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia website using the User ID and password
provided by Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia (refer to Retailer Letter 83/02 for access to the
website.
Complete the Changeover Request Form details in the Online Warranty/Changeover area of the
website. If you do not have access to the website, the Diagnosis and Changeover Request Form may be
completed and faxed to:

2.2 Dana Autom otive Systems Group Australia will ship warranty replacement axles as soon as possible at
their cost.
2.3 The axle deemed faulty is to be returned to Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia as soon as
possible, but not later than four (4) weeks from the date Dana Automotive Systems Group ship the
replacement axle, using Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia’s nominated road transport services.
Freight costs will be borne by Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia.
2.4 The axle must be returned to Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia using the wooden crate used to
ship the replacement unit.
2.5 The Holden defective material tag (GMH-906) is to be completed by the Retailer and returned with the
displaced axle, together with the copy of the Changeover Request form which will be in the crate with the
replacement diff.
2.6 If the replaced axle assembly is found to be to specification, it will be returned to Holden Repac and
invoiced to Holden.
2.7 Any returned axle found to be outs ide the war ranty c onditions due to impact dam age, abuse, tampering
etc., will not be warranted by Dana Automotive Systems Group Australia.
